ZERO-1 are working closely with Tomson (Buxton) Ltd to develop their new online sales channel which will soon allow domestic customers to purchase their weekly Fruit & Veg requirements and get it delivered to their workplace. Magento has been chosen as the preferred platform for the website, along with many bespoke enhancements which have been developed by us. These include bespoke gateway plug-ins to synchronise orders, stock availability and prices with their existing wholesale system.

ZERO-1 wishes all clients future and past, a very happy and prosperous new year!!

2009 has been very demanding for most, including ZERO-1. We have been working very hard to help our customers grow in an arguably declining economy. We are very excited to see what 2010 will bring and are already extremely busy with work for the first quarter.

Best Wishes from all the staff at ZERO-1.

Magento – Harness the power

On December 13th, 2009, posted in: Magento by Arron Moss |

Zero-1 have, over the past several months invested heavily on Magento. Most importantly the Open-Source (free) version of the software can be extremely slow and even unusable on many shared hosting services. This is where we come in! Zero-1 have spent months configuring servers from the ground upwards, ensuring all the base architecture is fully supportive of the demanding architecture for Magento Community edition.

Just a few of the requirements for any hosting environment are;

  • Zend Framework
  • Masses of Ram
  • PHP Caching Architecture
  • Specialist MySQL configuration

If you have a Magento website which is suffering performance issues, or are looking for an agency with experience with Magento, please contact us.
